Tuesday Talk: Dr. Opal Lee

We continue our Black History Month recognition with a celebration of FWÏã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖ±²¥¿ª½± alumna and former educator Dr. Opal Lee.
This month, she became the second Black person in the state honored with a portrait on display in the Texas Senate chambers in Austin.
This Tuesday Talk segment looks back to 2022 when Dr. Lee spoke before I.M. Terrell Academy’s first graduating class.
