Ms. Tequita Azantilow - Assistant Principal
It is with great pride that Tequita M. Porter-Azantilow is here to serve the students and community at Dolores Huerta Elementary School as the Assistant Principal.
This is her 22nd year in the educational field. She has taught 5th – 8th-grade mathematics, served as a school guidance counselor, a Math Specialist, District Instructional Coach, and taught all mathematics courses at the college level.
Ms. Azantilow holds a Bachelors in Mathematics and a Masters in Secondary Education and Guidance Counseling, both from Alcorn State University. She also has a Masters in Educational Administration from Prairie View A&M University and a Masters in Mathematics and Mathematics Teaching from Texas Woman's University. Her aim is to support and cultivate all teachers and students so that they reach their utmost potential. A growth mindset is the key.
Ms. Azantilow has one daughter, Chloe, and spends her free time with her family and friends.
