Ceremony details
- Location: The ceremony will be held at Dickies Arena, located at 1191 Montgomery St., Fort Worth, TX 76102. Free parking will be available at TCC Trinity River with transportation options to the FWCC. Paid parking is also available in garages and on the street near the FWCC. Please check the for updated transportation and parking information.
- Time: 6-8:30 p.m. May 16
- Graduates and families are expected to stay for the entire ceremony.
- Ceremony
- ECHS/P-TECH students will be recognized/acknowledged in the TCC Chancellor’s remarks.
- ECHS/P-TECH students sit together in the front of the graduate seating area, and they will be the first to process into Dickies arena and the first to cross the stage.
- Graduates are not limited in the number of guests attending the ceremony, and tickets will NOT be required for family and friends.
- ECHS/P-TECH faculty and staff that wish can join TCC faculty in the processional and sit in the designated faculty area on the arena floor.
- Regalia must be worn to participate in the processional and can be requested at no cost through TCC and picked up on the day of the event.
- A communication will be sent out with instructions for those who wish to request regalia.
- The event will be live-streamed for those guests who cannot attend in person and the live stream will also be available to watch later.
- These ceremonies include summer 2023 and fall 2023 graduates and spring 2024 candidates.
- ECHS/P-TECH students must RSVP for the ceremony by completing the .
- This form allows the student to indicate how their name will appear on their diploma and the address where the diploma should be mailed.

- Log in to MyTCCTrack
- Select “Students”
- Select “Graduation Interest Form,” found under the “Student Records Services” heading
- Select “Click here to access the Graduation Interest Form” at the bottom of the page
- Check the box of the appropriate academic program and click “Submit”
- Fill out the form and click “Submit”
- A professional photographer will take photos as graduates walk across the stage.
- There is no fee for regalia. Students pick up regalia through the TCC Campus Bookstores. Each graduate will receive an email with the specific start date for picking up regalia, but distribution will begin sometime in early April. Students must have submitted the online Graduation Interest Form (in MyTCCTrack) and be confirmed as eligible before they can pick up regalia. Only students expecting to graduate from TCC on or before August 2024 are eligible for free regalia. Students who participated in an ECHS/P-TECH program but are not graduating from TCC are not eligible for free regalia.
- The deadline to pick up regalia at any campus bookstore will be May 10, 2024 (students may choose any campus store). Final campus pick-up will be available at the Trinity River Campus Bookstore only on May 14, 2024. Limited regalia will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis at Dickies Arena immediately prior to the start of the student’s ceremony on the day of Commencement (May 15th and 16th).
- ECHS/P-TECH students will be distinguished from other TCC graduates with a white tassel.
- White tassels will be provided at check-in at Dickies Arena.
- Watch for an email from Marching Order for the opportunity to confirm participation in a ceremony and have an opportunity to use “Say It Right” for pronunciation of their name.
- The Grad Pass, which is the graduate’s ticket to graduation, will be sent to the TCC student email about a week before the ceremony. Graduates will need their Grad Pass for Graduate Check-in and must be wearing their regalia. Students must arrive with their Grad Pass printed and folded. Graduates must be wearing their regalia.
- Items Requiring Your Attention/Response
- A TCC District Office of Records and Reports representative will contact each ECHS/PTECH Representative or designee with a list of verified eligible graduates for review.

Caps and regalia
Cap placement
- Caps are to be worn with the tassel on the right at the beginning of the ceremony.
Cap decoration guidelines
- Graduates can decorate their caps, but there are specific rules to follow:
- Objects cannot hang from the cap.
- Items cannot extend above the hat more than one-fourth inch.
- Profanity or inappropriate content is not permitted.
- The underside of the cap cannot be decorated.
- Lights or confetti cannot be used.
Violation consequences
- If a graduate violates any of the guidelines mentioned above, they will not be allowed to wear the decorated cap during the ceremony. Instead, the graduate will receive an alternate cap to wear.
Additional notes
- Graduates can wear a heritage stole.
- No draping flags are allowed to be worn over gowns.
- Graduation regalia (cords, medals, and stoles) worn by graduates must only represent curricular national honor societies; regalia for non-curricular activities is not approved.

Ceremony expectations
Arrival
- Graduates should arrive 30 - 45 minutes prior to the commencement ceremony.
- Graduates should enter at Gate 1.
- Guests enter at Gates 1, 2, 3.
- There is no limit to the number of guests per graduate.
- Parking is free for all FW香港六合彩直播开奖 graduations.
- Doors will open one hour before the graduation.
- Only clear bags/purses are allowed at the Wilkerson-Greines ceremonies.
- No outside food or balloons are allowed. Helium balloons, air horns, cowbells or any items that make loud noises are not allowed inside.
Expectations for graduates
- Attire check
- Graduates' attire will be checked before reporting to their assigned seats.
- Caps and regalia that do not conform to district guidelines will be removed and returned to the graduate after the ceremony.
- Personal items
- Purses and personal bags will not be allowed during the ceremony.
- Processional etiquette
- Following the processional, graduates should remain standing for the national anthem.
- Graduates are to rise and be seated simultaneously as directed by the graduation sponsor.
- Diploma collection
- After receiving the diploma, graduates must return to their designated row/seat and remain standing until the entire row has returned.
- Tassel movement
- The class president will move the tassel to the left side using their right hand.
- Graduates will follow in unison and remain standing.
- Additional guidelines
- No photographs are allowed on the ceremony floor.
- A copy of the program will be placed in each graduate's chair.
- No corsages or gum are permitted during the graduation ceremony.
- Family members and guests are asked to remain for the entire ceremony.
- Graduates must adhere to the graduation ceremony expectations. Disruptive behavior may result in removal from the program, which could possibly involve police
intervention. - Visitors are reminded that only clear bags/purses will be admitted into the ceremony venue.
