Mrs. Claudia Facundo
My name is Claudia Facundo. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Education from UTA Arlington. I have been an educator for 7 years now. I chose this profession because I enjoy working with children. I strongly believe that children are our future and it brings me great joy to know that I am helping them reach their ultimate potential.
I like to create a safe and comfortable atmosphere in my classroom where students can be themselves. Because I understand that not all students learn the same, I make sure that I teach in a variety of ways in which I achieve every student’s needs. It is important to me that every one of my students succeed in class and everywhere else, they may need to. I believe that teaching should not just be a “job” to do, but a passion. I truly feel this way about it.

Rebecca Soria
Welcome to 2nd grade. I am Miss Soria and I am happy to be at H.V. Helbing. I was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. I attended H.V. Helbing Elementary, W.A. Meacham Middle School, and G.B. Trimble Technical High School. I obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology and a Master's in Bilingual Education from Texas Wesleyan University. I have been teaching since 2000. I have a sweet beagle named Samson, and some of my favorites are: the movie - Grease, the book - Harry Potter series, and drink - Starbucks Café Americano.

Wilfredo Toro Vazquez
My name is Wilfredo Toro Vázquez. This school year I will be serving our fabulous 2nd grade bilingual students at H.V. Helbing Elementary.In total I do have thirty years of experience teaching, specifically six of them here in Texas.My formal education consists of a BA in Educational Arts and a Graduate Studies in Educational Leadership.In my free time I love to listen to music, fishing and watching sports.
