The sole Dallas-Fort Worth recipient of a full tuition scholarship from the Posse Scholar program, Mykal is headed to Centre College in Danville, Kentucky. Valued at more than $200,000, the scholarship was awarded in January. Mykal is one of 10 high school leaders awarded a four-year scholarship to Centre College. The Posse Scholar program recruits, selects, and offers pre-collegiate training to students with exceptional leadership potential. Exemplifying hard work, Anthony balanced academics and personal challenges while working long hours on the wait staff at a busy Fort Worth restaurant. His dedication to supporting himself and his family, alongside earning college credits, showcases his perseverance.
